Lot 2 of the Lugoj-Deva Motorway is an integral part of the 4th Pan-European Corridor of the TEN-T Trans-European Transport Network, which crosses central Romania by going to strengthen the connections between the Hungarian Nădlac crossing and Pitesti, and then on to Constanta on the Black Sea.  

The project involved the modernization of a highway section stretching about 19 kilometers (19 miles) in the Banat region, central Romania, through the municipalities of Dumbrava, Margina, Lapugiu de Jos, and the town of Faget.  

The project included the construction of 6 road overpasses and 2 bridges.
